Produce Food Safety & Traceability

The New Zealand Food Act 2014  will come into force on 1 March 2016. Food industries are therefore tasked with conceptually understanding how they will meet the legislation’s requirements at business and industry level.

 

The paper entitled, The New Zealand Produce Industry Food Safety & Traceability Framework, was developed in conjunction with Horticulture New Zealand and is aimed at ensuring that our industry evolves beyond responding to new laws and regulations into one that proactively develops aspirational goals in this area and sets out to achieve these.
