Phytosanitary Inspector Training:

 

This customised one day programme presents information on the Certification System, inspection process/records and staff competency.

This training is customised to your Ministry Approved Organisation (MAO) Operating System and includes a practical session.

It is aimed at helping fresh produce packhouse managers by providing a training course relevant to their operations.

Please note: In order to customise the training course to your operations, access to your MAO Operating System is required.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Attendees are fresh produce packhouse personnel who require training as Phytosanitary Inspectors.

  • Introduction to the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) Certification System
  • Understanding the packhouse Operating System
  • Competency requirements
  • Sampling, inspection and decision making process and methodologies
  • Documents and records administration and management
  • Pests of concern
  • MPI Audit requirements
  • Practical hands on session.

A print out of the presentation and a certificate of attendance is issued to programme participants.
