Site Assessments (high risk goods)
Under existing MAF Standards importers of risk goods are required to manage the Biosecurity risk associated with the goods they import through documented procedures. The AgriChain Centre offers an advisory service to assist you.
You get:
- Your processes in order
- Your facility up to scratch
- Your procedures manual accurately reflecting your processes and being aligned with your legal requirements
- We can also support the implementation of procedures on site.
Biosecurity Risks vary depending on the risk goods handled, typically our service consists of:
- Pre-visit review of relevant standards and your existing procedures
- On site interview with the facility operator including a physical site assessment
- Assistance in procedure development
- Final appraisal and pre-audit check.
Cost guideline: $1,200 +GST. This is a guide only as the complexity of procedures varies depending on the needs of your business. A written quote will be provided outlining the costs for your site and expected service delivery time.
