Biosecurity Operating Procedure Manuals
As part of your Transitional Facility application with MAF BNZ you as a TFO are required to prepare an in-depth Biosecurity Operating Procedure Manual.
At The AgriChain Centre we aim to make this process an easy process and can prepare your Operational Procedures Manual for you.
For facilities importing low risk goods we have a simple process with a seven-day turn around and we ensure it will comply with all MAF BNZ standards.
At times biosecurity requirements can be hard to understand and balance with the pressures of day to day business.
As System, Management and Biosecurity experts we can either help you write your Standard Operating Procedures or review your own procedures.
Low Risk Facilities:
For facilities considered to be importing Low Risk Goods by MAF BNZ, we will provide the following:
- A fax or email-based assessment questionnaire for you to complete and return
- Your customised Facility Procedures in hard copy and disk form
- We supply you with biosecurity updates as they occur.
The cost is $350 plus GST.
Please note: Facilities handling high risk goods will need to be assessed on a case-by-case basis depending on the specific issues involved.
